Estuary Magazine and The Watershed Fund are pleased to announce the winner of the 2024 Early Career Achievement Award, Riley Doherty. This award will be given to Ms. Doherty on Thursday, September 26, at 5 p.m. at the Lyme Public Library (Lyme, CT).  The brief ceremony will begin with a social gathering with refreshments, a brief environmental update for the CT River Watershed by Dick Shriver, editor of Estuary magazine, and the award presentation followed by remarks by Riley Doherty. Riley earned this distinction by virtue of her work as Environmental Program Manager for the Eightmile River Wild & Scenic Watershed and her targeted academic pursuits.
